caught in pink fuzz

caught in pink fuzz,
bound in black leather straight jackets
here in the west
this has never been anywhere, man,
and its only getting worse;
far lost
   and forgotten
beneath the rust and the smut

chokedttt
here at the end of the world
we've turned the lights low,
turned the peace off,
let the dogs loose
to gnaw at our throats

na na na nan na

oi the soil is soft
but the earth is hard
in our yard
which is now more bones than dirt;
no, sir, this is no place to find
what it is you're looking for;
sitting in black tar and sinking ,
weeping and screaming:
sos!
sos!
yes oh yes!
Clark Kent!
Judas Christ &
Jesus Iscariot!
save our souls!
save our ship!
and recollect, recollect,
that which remembers to never forget
in every inch of its pasts, presents and futures
that this city hates you too,
thru and thru and thru and thru
