Fabric Of My Reality 2

A tear, just a small one
But just large enough for you to see me and I you
I wanted a closer look
So I parted it a little further to get a better view
Of your heart
Little did I know
Your thoughts matched mine and we collided
Our worlds and auras melded in such a way
A love was borne that transcended time
We've woven and intertwined
We made love in that instant
Our thoughts and words
Had me feeling every inch of your body
And you claiming every part mine
And still we've never met
My mind bucked
Silently asking who is this man to touch my soul
Him shushing me and saying
"Be still and let God make our story unfold"
I watched his hand reach through the fabric
Palm up in offering
All I have to do is place my hand in his
To see that there is so much more than what I've been living in
Behind my curtain
As I struggle with what I know
I watch this man's hand patiently waiting
Because he already knows my heart yearns to go
To him, Be with him, Grow in him
He's already aware of what's beginning to dawn in me
We'd already met
Time after time
Again and Again
All I need is faith
To leave the Fabric of My Reality behind.
