Poet Introduction
I've written how I feel about life and loves since the age of 14. Am I published? Not yet. Working on my fear of failure I guess. I pray that my words will inspire during my visit here.

Smile
Ever see a smile that you decide that you selfishly want for yourself?
Nothing sexual but you desire to have the ability to be that reason an individual eyes light up
and they can't stop "seeing" ONLY you.
I look forward to that responsibility.
My loyalty will lie with being your source of joy and peace
Even after you've observed me cussing every other person out.
What they've failed to realize is most often than not they catch the wrath for simply NOT BEING YOU.
I plan to cherish it and I have every intention on carrying out my duty purposefully and...

Fabric Of My Reality 2
A tear, just a small one
But just large enough for you to see me and I you
I wanted a closer look
So I parted it a little further to get a better view
Of your heart
Little did I know
Your thoughts matched mine and we collided
Our worlds and auras melded in such a way
A love was borne that transcended time
We've woven and intertwined
We made love in that instant
Our thoughts and words
Had me feeling every inch of your body
And you claiming every part mine
And still we've never met
My mind bucked
Silently asking who is this man to...

Why So Quiet?
You've asked me why I'm so quiet.
My answer to your question is
Everytime I step out on faith
To gorge myself on your love
You place me on an emotional diet.
What's the point of speaking up?
Exposing myself to you
Letting my feelings run amok
Overflowing like a too small cup.
So I fall back.
Quietly move over to my lane.
It's so obvious female company
Is not what you lack.
You ask me why I won't tell you how I feel.
You say you wished you'd known
But I've told you.
I've shown you.
I've kept it real.

In Remembrance of Mattie Sunshine McDonald-Zanders
My heart plummeted with the news of your illness.
My soul is crying, watching my dad quietly grieve.
I'm praying for Aunt Sunny,
For God to bear your pain on his sleeve.
I'm aching with a feeling of hopelessness.
Waiting for your suffering to be lifted from you.
You'll be rewarded soon in his HIS glory,
Your life is a testimony.
Therefore I know that God's love is true.

I asked for a good man.
A God-fearing man.
A man who will love me like I know I'll love him back.
A man who will be my best friend til the end.
A man who I enjoy looking at and I'll feel his enjoyment of looking at me.
God is like a satellite dish.
He knows where you are, he knows where what you want is.
Then you have life. Life is like a GPS system.

Love's Journey of Supplication
You enter by invitation of acceptance upon that I offered in purity
As I deepen my awareness of your soul, your presence warm … You held me in your embrace.
I feel your love thicken as you grace my entrance bearing no gifts other than that of who you are.
Breathing rhythmically echoing ancient harmonies bearing no gifts other than what you have.
My recognition of who you are invites you into me deeper; anointing our pleasures with oil deep within.
Your reception intensifies as my core is reached; soul caught, released and captured once more.

I'm not politically or socially conscious about what makes the world revolve.
If it doesn't directly affect me, life is no big puzzle to be solved.

It's meandering through all the possibilities of being with you.
I love the talent of shutting out all else but the thought of you touching me.
You view yourself as not worthy.
Good thing this is solely my fantasy.
