Amber Eyes
Apart of my heart that will never rest
Trying to move on and keep life at its best
but memories and dreams keep returning
nothing I can do, will stop my soul from yearning
this pain I feel
is something i fear, will never heal
try as I must, try as I might
there is nothing I can do to win this fight
so all I do is look to the skys
and think, love, and dread her Amber Eyes

The last two lines were golden and you managed to work all the feeling and say everything you needed to say in those two verses. Kudos. [:

thank you. i didn't really expect to have it turn out like this. i actually didn't even want to i started it in spite of a friend telling me to write a poem to try and help my mood, get things off my chest.
but again thank you for your comments i am glad it is liked
