Adieu

Adieu, ladies and gentlemen
the boys, the girls
The preteen adolescents
those coked-up
stoned out
down on anti-depressants
Living the dream of growth

We automatize to the incessant.
The light, the sparkle of time,
the shimmer of fate,
The language of the darkness,

We have learned not to feel the heat
The warmth of our hearts, to be numb
We are reluctant, because we do not believe
That we will change, and be come incandescent

To transcend, the great guardian time awaits

To become fate, one must only vision

That we are the candle-holders
And the bearers of light
Electricity, fire, water and intelligent might.
The color and the sound
Echoes in your brain
screams at you at times
where you feel you're headed
down the drain

Let it not give you numbness or false pride
But the depth of a thing called : curiosity.

Have you ever looked above a mega city?

You only need to be above our earth so far before you see
Maybe a lot of events that prove your disgust
But the light shines from all around
A bomb of color and sound

Yes, yes. We all have our own version of what we are.
And you know it as well as I.

All you have to do.. is spark a match in the darkness
To see that it is not in the light where you see a flame truly burn brightest.

Adieu,
For I must follow the rules of the darkness.
To sleep I succumb, Unknown to what I become
When the lessons of time, fate and language
come undone
