Choices
choices spin in our biosphere,
craving to be captured
and gain momentum
in the depths of the cerebrum,
to embrace the preferred reality
making every breath, destined
to it's selected path.
will it be,
criminality? insanity? wealth or poverty?
life choices warn of their penalty
and still, in such ease
we slip
into
a place of no time
where memories inspire present thought
and the future sleeps with one eye opened.
