soundwave sailor
where do you live?
where is your heart?
show me your city.
oh, of course, you are a sailor.
we go down the hills
through the grey mists,
lonely cars murmur past
we traverse the jungle
of buildings and power cables.
there is but one person
bidding us farewell
on the dusty shore,
but you're always facing
the sunset.
the golden crest of
the waves surrounding us,
reflect on your face,
they break and lap
against my mind.
we dissect galaxies,
philosophical geometry,
cut deep into the soul of the forests,
witness a whole universe
of poetry
we visit distant shores
we are greeted by the
strangest of peoples,
i stay, to plant the seeds
of setting stars
there is but one person
bidding you farewell
on this dry shore,
and you will always face,
the sunset[/font]
