walking in the rain
you can tell by the way she walks
the streets have been her home
for far too long
lost little girl has come of age
the lines now etch her face
another party,another night
all the same
stuck in a battle with rage and pain
turn around, look and you will see
the sun will rise again if you will it to be
I remember walking in the rain
thinking that the water would wash away my pain
I remember seeing you in the street
the streets have been her home
for far too long
lost little girl has come of age
the lines now etch her face
another party,another night
all the same
stuck in a battle with rage and pain
turn around, look and you will see
the sun will rise again if you will it to be
I remember walking in the rain
thinking that the water would wash away my pain
I remember seeing you in the street
