Blue twine on my white bedspread

You have imprinted yourself in my knuckles
So my fingers could learn to dance on yours
My kiss is permanently stained on you;
I kissed until my lips went raw,
But i know you wouldn't think it
I might have seen your flaws.
but i do indeed still love you
i promised after all
even after the moment
my chest nearly caved in
even after the time
you first wore my skin
