I really don’t understand

Why are things not moving?
Why is life so still
I really don’t understand
How more to gain the skill

All that has been happening
Is really not so bad
Its just that lingering feeling
Still left to make the kill.

Why are things so mundane?
And everything seems nil ?
I really don’t understand
The slowly vanishing thrill.

Has all bottomed its level ?
Have I something to do ?
I really don’t understand
How much more till I’m through.

This struggle seems to go on
Sometimes I think of you
I really don’t understand
If I am where I flew.

All that has happened so far
Is all that seems so true
I really don’t understand
I’m left without a clue.
