Water
Water
She said: I actually used to worry what others thought and that was one of my big ones! Couldn't give a toss now :-)
He Said: Yea same, it's their luggage. Better I don't know about it.
She said: I used to think they cared, but what they think is none of my business haha.
He said: If I could be anything I'd be water and I'd be wild about it...
She said: please explain...even though water would be cool...
He said: Oh. Not really sure I can. That was just a random rather ethereal comment. I wrote it at the end of a troubled poem once. I think it's mainly the idea of water being able to easily flow around and over obstacles. And perhaps the raw power of big surf. Water finds its own level always. I like the idea of that in my life. Human existence is sometimes troubling. I doubt water ever feels troubled. I do miss the ocean a lot too, even though I'm surrounded by my painted desert here. I love water, rivers, lakes, the ocean, rain, snow, glaciers, an outback creek in flash flood. I like mountains and the desert too, but they are sort of sedentary. Stuck as and where they are. Water is fluid, it moves, it's adaptable. Yes that's it, that's an explanation. I love it when I write and the ideas and thoughts just flow - like water.
She said: mmmm....water...I think of this one quite a bit..."If the river of life drags you down, just roll on your back and float!"
