Borrow Tomorrow

Questions form
About the world challenge the norm
The Jihad on reason confusion reigns
We need a saviour
Politicos spout verbal diarrhoea
As doomsday draws ever nearer
Who will hear the voices of the lost
The screams of the dreamers dying
The wails of the woebegone trying
To be heard by the herd

Prophets of destruction hold sway
And nature left to defray
The cost of verminous multitudes
Soothed by disingenuous platitudes
Taking ever taking

Look away look away
It didn’t happen yesterday
It hasn’t happened today
We can always borrow tomorrow
As long as your childern pay
Don’t look now
It will all go away
Yeah?
