Tree Of Memories
Like a dead tree, branches fall to the ground, memories of the past, the ones forgotten
Every one has them, see them or not, they're there, within view or only in mind
Every thought, caged in your mind, or told on the outside, memory of the past once it has been said
Take in view, the beauty of life, chances, risks, thoughts, new beginnings
Good or bad, nice or mean, right or wrong
It's all the same, once it' said and done, it ends up the same
Distant and past, more to the story, never ending
It's all the same, ending up in the past, distant
Memories
Don't look back to dwell and pity
Look forward, new to keep, all in the endless abyss of which is called, the mind
Hold them close, or push far away
Laugh or cry, it's all the same
Distant memories
Love or hate, walk the path, through the past, endless of which to see
We are all the same, yet so different, we fight and make up, though we all end up the same
Memories of the past, haunt the future, the present, and the past
Some say ghosts, some say spirits, some say the gone
I can say one word to sum it all in one, something they all are
Memories
The dead tree falls, yet is still there, memory of the past, now gone from view, along with the deceased
We live upon one giant tree, branches falling, branches forming, some never to be seen again
Building higher and higher, falling harder and harder
Live to the fullest, for the not knowing, of when your branch falls
Fight for the highest branch, for the highest fall, so everyone sees
We are all connected, through the earth, ground, elements
Put together to be one, without the other we fall
Take time to look around, see the world, gain wisdom, patience, well being of what you are
In the end it's all the same, a distant faint picture of the past in the mind of the world
Never forgotten, yet pushed away, for the fear of loosing
We are all connected and work together, as one big tree
The branches fall, for new to come, building stronger each time, to fight higher
Distant pasts create a better future for the tree of life and death
It binds itself to one another, stronger yet weaker, longer yet shorter
Let the tree fall and burn, to build another, for it stays a memory
A memory of the past and soon to be future, to build higher and higher, older and younger
Every one has them, see them or not, they're there, within view or only in mind
Every thought, caged in your mind, or told on the outside, memory of the past once it has been said
Take in view, the beauty of life, chances, risks, thoughts, new beginnings
