Climbing Trees While Birds Take the Sidewalk
The sky is empty
God has moved on
clouds quickly follow
the sun sets
wallow in the sins of your father
your mother sold your soul
the family tree is rotting
time to chop it down
a rift in the material called existence
has caused my rose colored glasses to fog up
looking at the world for what it is,
not for what it could be
inflicting my own pain
upon my own being
just because I can
and just because you cant, anymore
laughing like a maniac
I burn your pictures
and my fingers
sliced by my own sword
mesonoxian
midnight is my sister
pouring her darkness onto me
achromatic, my perception is black
God has moved on
clouds quickly follow
the sun sets
wallow in the sins of your father
your mother sold your soul
the family tree is rotting
time to chop it down
a rift in the material called existence
has caused my rose colored glasses to fog up
looking at the world for what it is,
not for what it could be
inflicting my own pain
upon my own being
just because I can
and just because you cant, anymore
laughing like a maniac
I burn your pictures
and my fingers
sliced by my own sword
mesonoxian
midnight is my sister
pouring her darkness onto me
achromatic, my perception is black
