The baby
He went to her house
and he knocked at her door.
She stood right behind,
what was she waiting for?
He knocked and he knocked,
but he wasn't let in.
So heavy she felt,
was her sin.
He whispered and talked
and was calling her name.
She cried and she cried
his attempts were in vain.
But he just had to tell her,
she needed to know.
Why he was still waiting
as came tomorrow.
A message so important
that she needed to be heard
and yet they both knew
it was something they feared.
They knew she was expecting,
a heavy burden on her heart.
But he wasn't the father,
they had to break apart
But love is so mighty,
it overcomes fear,
she opened the door
and he was still there.
