"I just destroy what's good and leave the Soul a hollow place.

I dont mean to be, that's just become of me,

You're better off alone, you see."

Then the Halo fades away.

I remember how she used to be so pure,

Back when I first wrote about her.

I remember how she used to melt me so,

When she would hold on and never let go.

She would always smile, we would always play,

We were lost in our own disarray.

But the Halo faded away.

Now she rarely smiles, it's a tragedy,

And sometimes she seems so mad at me.

I feel like I've done something wrong,

It doesn't feel the same, it just drags on.

But still I love that Angel so,
It's not inside me to let her go.

And she's an Angel for which I will wait.
