My Favorite Three

We had a good buddy
and for those he never knew
odds are you would like him
for there would be nothing else to do

Down in Oak Park
A year before Oregon was time to play
took him for a run
oh yeah we sprinted all the way

A bit later curious about Bobby
but never did he bark or bite
more curious where the new canine came from
a fellow tennis ball finder sounded right

Living real close to a park
walks were a real joy
always excited he would be
to find another wonderful toy (tennis ball)

Once we got to the section
of the park no leash required
back and forth, up and down
it seemed he never tired

Then there was the kitchen
if Bobby wasn't going along with the plan
the tap as if to say,
"act right so a treat is what we land!"

And the mystery I never could figure out
that breath never bad
much like his disposition
a sweeter canine was never had

So if you believe in some higher place
and expect to find pets are there
one beige, one brown, and one black in view
