Magical Words
That wonderful word in which friendship lingers,
nothing as magical as that sentimental greeting,
where those feelings reside,
where hearts are glowing.
The challenge I am to find, is in my reply,
That magic word, "hey," so much feeling.
My reply must again be magic,
so, "what," is my reply.
The friend seems stuck,
was my reply too magical?
"Nothing," says the friend.
I now, am stuck.
The most magical words,
stuck with no words to say,
I ask, "what you do today?"
"Nothing," comes the reply.
nothing as magical as that sentimental greeting,
where those feelings reside,
where hearts are glowing.
The challenge I am to find, is in my reply,
That magic word, "hey," so much feeling.
My reply must again be magic,
so, "what," is my reply.

was my reply too magical?
"Nothing," says the friend.
I now, am stuck.
The most magical words,
stuck with no words to say,
I ask, "what you do today?"
"Nothing," comes the reply.
