The past couple of days

It's the law of the land
Opinions get blurred with the actual truth
Can be light yet heavy like sand
We all need peace that can soothe

Anger is created as a person is devastated
Words often do change everything
A domino effect because many things are related
The many emotions a single day can bring

Fatigue is all that seems to wash everything away
Apologize and say what has been done
Yet it was not necessary when several people are guilty today
Another issue understood but not solved before the falling of the sun

Oh my what a day
In 24 hours so much can change
As lies and stories swirl around with out delay
The fact I am in the middle of the storm is rather strange

Chief of the drama police I am to be it appears
Restoring order is my new task
Preventing war as night nears
Investigating data and questions I must ask

Solving another rumor, thank God it's not a death
Still not the easiest thing to be done
If you are looking for a quick solution don't hold your breath
The case has just begun
