Don't tell me America

Don't tell me, America wants guns
Can they not see their daughters and sons
The gun lobby, to hell with their power
When children are dead and things are so sour

Don't tell me America needs evil
Why constantly entice the devil
Forget the shooters fight for life
It's either that or more strife

Wake up America, thou shalt not kill
For the constitution talks of no such bill
Believe you can make the change
Put the lid on mass murder and end the rage

Down here, down under, we had Port Arthur
After that we took in the guns rather
Get strong and deal with it every bit
Life too precious so deal with it!

Don't tell me America wants guns
Can they not see their daughters and sons
