Welcome to my Theater (Bambi eyes)

Cut the core harshly,
a million problems crawl with
the sapphire in your veins.
Plush velvet curtains swing apart;
my stumbling amends opening the night.
Pallid faces tolerate auburn Bambi eyes,
embracing the red graciously.
Long unkempt brunette strands
frame bloated faces.

Confronting an audience of myself,
vividly contrasting between different emotions.
Some contorted with pain;
undulating on carpets screaming
(screaming) tears streaming.
Mostly a mess of perplexity melded
together with anger.
A pool of intestines and cursing lips
staining the oxygen in my theater sickly yellow.
No one to blame but myself.

Happy faces hang motionless
from the rafters; my eyes owning
that distant, rare spark.
The future vulgarly enters my vision,
scrabbling frantically on all fours.
Tongue lolling out of the side of its mouth,
a beetle on the tip.
Gnarled hands curl around my ankles,
gripping fiercely.
As our gazes meet I see Bambi eyes
staring right back at me.
