Kisses in the Clouds
When he kissed her,
she was set free.
His warm lips
pressed so tenderly--
against her own.
She could never ask for a happier death.
Her very body turned to mush in his arms.
She began to float away
on a fluffy cloud
of blissful tranquility.
However,
that might be due to lack of oxygen.
She dreaded the very thought--
of coming up for air.
Deciding she would rather turn blue--
then loose sweet contact.
When they finally parted--
He left her with a deliciously foreign
taste on her tongue.
But--it did not stop there!
A tingling--
racing along every fiber of her being.
An unforgettable feeling.
Like an imprint--
No!
Like a brand.
