take me into the abyss
it’s not strong enough
you’re not strong enough to hold me up
and away from the emptiness I crave
the studded collar around my neck
a chokehold I let drag me under
your fingers find me in the darkness
setting my skin alight
and I succumb to the feeling
of helplessness
my hands are not my own
shackled to the headboard
and you bleed me dry
until all that remains
is the purity of lust
and agonising ecstasy
we fuck like cannibalistic animals
until I scream and beg you for more
beg you to break my body
under the weight of yours
and it’s not enough to obliterate
the pain of consciousness
you fill me so completely
but you’re too far away
our souls not yet merged
hell so close and yet not close enough
to stop the pain
I could die in your arms
bloodied and peeling away from my flesh
my essence red on your lips
and drying beneath your cracked finger nails
just for a chance to leave my body
and touch the nothingness
with you by my side
