misunderstodd

A seed is dropped into the dirt by accident and out springs a black rose and like that rose, my birth wasn’t exactly planned so I’m something like a black rose. An object of undeniable beauty but unapproachable, not because of my thorns nor is it the poison that they may hold, but simply because of the color… (Black) the color that represents the things mankind seems to fear most like the darkness of night or the cold inevitability of death, but most of all the mind set to be black when the others on the bush remain red. Scared to show off their reds oranges purples and blues, completely denying all of their unique hues then standing on mountaintops and declaring themselves unique. You see I stand on my roots that give me a strong foundation to stand on. Roots that are strong enough to lift me and the grand ambitions that I hold over my head because I know that I am strong to carry them. Yet I never allow my roots to go to deep in to the ground because like many I was born around ignorance but I won’t stay in ignorance and I’ll be damn if I die in ignorance. I’m different I don’t stand on street corners passing out poison to pedestrians for a profit. Partly because I have, nothing to sell besides my words which I would gladly give you for free, but if I price is being asked I ask you how much are my words worth to you? Bricks of gold? Coins of silver? Perhaps my words aren’t worth your dead presidents at all which truthfully suits me just fine. My words were never for such a thing there more like dreams giving you a strip tease of a later date but never reviling to much nothing set in stone and something are better left to imagination. My words are more like memories tragic times that shape us and those moments that you wish could last forever. Looking at this world we all call home I learn  that the world isn’t black and white there would be way to much conflict nor is it in shades of grey that would be boring and it is not painted all red that would be stupid. So now a seed is dropped into the dirt by accident and out springs you so tell me what color are you?
