Meduses

Intense shudders
shaking my entrails
tonight I touch them
softly stinging
and threatening

soft to touch
slippery to the moon
lit up with colors
stinging when enough
to fear
and shrink back from shame

but I know
I'll not even do this
I will embrace the burning light
hug fists aimed at the sky
will gird myself with inconsistent arms
and these life gift shudders,
I will give you
on a tray
of gangly glances on the infinite
and award winning in existence

and then
I'll put myself in a little corner
eye brimming with emotions
and wait for answers from the skin
that will come

from arrows and breathing
of embers of drums of stilettos
of bites given to the air and the rest

Shame
I prefer Medusas
that almost give a shudder of life
hiding from senses makes no sense
I dive into this ocean...and we'll see
