Sometimes whispers haunt me
they came from your mouth.

Thoughts persisting like a pause in time.
it makes me think of trying to recall a happy memory,
a cross country train ride,
whiskey,
and a turbulent time in our lives we're trying to move past but it picks us apart because we're only human.
