Tell Me That I'm Pretty
I have done so much for you to
look at me just once, for a
moment.
I have bathed in the blood of
those who dare speak out against
you.
I even left you a special kitten
head as a present knowing that you
love cats so much.
But I'm still considered ugly to
you?
A monster, was that what you whispered?
I am an evil monster because I want
the one I love to gaze at me for a
few moments?
Then I shall bathe in sin and your blood
because when you're dead, your eyes will
always look only at me.

It feels good.. doesn't it? It is hard to fight.. it can overwhelm you.. become you, or you can fight..
This poem takes me back to the time I wrote frozen grace, the same muse is here, living in you and your writing. The yearning and breach of desire in this poem is enticing to say the least, deadly.. yes. I'll touch on some parts that caught my attention..
"I have bathed in the blood of those who dare speak out against you." - Attention grabbing stanza, gripped my mind and the secrets that lay within, relevant to me, and a satisfying sentence.
"A monster, was that what you whispered?
I am an evil monster because I want the one I love to gaze at me for a few moments?" - The craving for your efforts to be recognised are much like my own, your passion will lead to their death following the final stanza..
"Then I shall bathe in sin and your blood because when you're dead, your eyes will always look only at me." - They are now yours.. forever.
