He thinks its him
I know its me

I didn't feel like getting into emotional mechanics
silence is what he got

oh cant forget the empty stare
I'm good at that too

why?
there are a million reasons why

but I cant find one word to explain any of it
I look through my mental lexicon, still nothing

the words that want to roll off my tongue are cruel
cruel is easier, its always easier

perplexed and begging for a simple speech
I walked away
