Puppet on a String

 The Federal Reserve Bank, regulates banks and sets interest rates,
The hands of an individual influencing world finances, at his/her fate.
Entertainment producers and owners determine what we see and hear,
Vital interests for this power of persuasion, Whose? Not so clear.
Counsel on Foreign Relations, produces a powerful leader’s view,
Intervention in a foreign land for a hidden purpose, not the truth, nothing new.
Question, to invade a nation to contribute to the cause?
First we impose sanctions, test the new weapons because they refuse our laws.
War is big business, contracts go unchecked, weapons used and clean up,
Natural resources stolen, ongoing hidden deals, new government corrupt.
Judges,lawyers and politicians used to keep current what now is in place,
Land of the free and home of the brave, nothing to do with race?
Is there a nation or state in the world always in their pocket?
In the eyes of the eagle, others are the enemy, we don’t share the profit?
What happens to a foreign nation when they attack America’s foe?
The flood gates of support open up, no matter who's at fault, you know.
Could the last remaining superpower be nothing but a Puppet on a String?
Is the puppeteer in charge acting inside or outside the ring?
Their vital interests are always protected regardless of what they do,
The nation- state never sanctioned or reprimanded, fact not fiction, it’s true.
