Revolutions (just a simple free-write.)

I watch the sky
Black
Blue
Black
Blue
Always changing,
keeping pace
with the worms beneath the soil.
Stretching wide, my eyes
they water, no blinking.
The revolutions of the orbs
must always be kept watch.
In the darkness, my body
Awakens,
Then freezes with the heat.
Contradictions march
always at my side.
Who am I these days?
Am I the same each night?
No, I can't be.
This can't be.
Who have I become?
Where did I lose myself?
What day, what time?
When will I reclaim what's mine?
Each question raises suspicion,
and the King won't like to bear
the weight of my limp body.
But I am frozen, awakening.
But frozen, immobile.
Breathless, my eyes,
they water
as I see what you've done to me.
