Poem Killer
I fell and laughed this morning
Cut my knee and the blood started coming
It stung a bit and I seemed to like it
Licked it dry as my inner poet saw fit
Tasted the bitter sweet flavour;
Resembled a rarity I needed to savour
Beautiful obscurity does well to linger
In spinal cathedrals and outstretched fingers
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder;
Who's to decide if heaven or hell is colder?
The difference between hallucinations and visions;
Or, inferiority in our individual variations?
Cut my knee and the blood started coming
It stung a bit and I seemed to like it
Licked it dry as my inner poet saw fit
Tasted the bitter sweet flavour;
Resembled a rarity I needed to savour
Beautiful obscurity does well to linger
In spinal cathedrals and outstretched fingers
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder;
Who's to decide if heaven or hell is colder?
The difference between hallucinations and visions;
Or, inferiority in our individual variations?
