Fantasy Land

Escaping to a place of hidden fantasy
Where the land breathes beauty, and the elf folk run free
The moons reflections lay still upon the lake by night
As the cluster of fairies remain quietly out of sight

I watch the over grown forest, with its magical tress
That seem to dance ever slightly in the gentle breeze
Laying to rest down on the forests floor
Of this place I've come to deeply adore
I listen as the night sings its lullaby song
And as I drift off into sleep, I think of this place and how I truly belong

Waking to the coldness of my bedroom floor
I realise I've visited this place many times before
A place so beautiful it couldn't possibly be real

This fantasy land I've created so I don't have to feel
