Sally the Salamander*
congratulations i said to you
on the day i saw you last
when we got our diplomas
our parents' proud faces shone
shiny diamonds in the crowd
bamboozled
our wine glasses clicked
empty promises were made
and we toasted to our futures
while eating salmon steaks on Ohio.
those were the days of old when
talk turned out to be expensive but
visions sold on street corners for cheap
we were looking for water then i think
the first time i saw you we were
discussing the situation of that homeless girl
who gave me her furniture as a...

January is gone,
Thirty one crossed out days since The Fall,
Thirty one stakes,
Through thirty one broken hearts.
Thirty broken dreams,
One long unrelenting Scream;
Fate seals the dream with a war-torn Freeze.
She withholds the key, then disappears.
A sleeping corridor Speaks:
"Now which way to go? ...

Addiction
Where is the professor,
Is he crying his river to the bone?
Where is the friend,
Is she locked up mental case, shaming her pretty face?
Where's the clown,
Is he heading for home
Long day at the office?
I search for people, friends, meaning like a compass searches for direction.
But I do have a confession to make: I am dislexic (I can't even spell it)
Only when it comes to too big numbers
Only when it comes to finance, derivatives, inflation, elation
I never learned or wanted to learn how to operate a compass
...

A day in my life
Meeting 1
There we was back in the day
Two college girls: Sia and Bliss
Traveling down an open road
We stopped at a campground named Hiss.
Tell ya the truth, it was the three of us, but Candy Cane decided to sleep. Beauty sleep, not insomnia seemed to her a decent treat. The Sages, however, were awake and alert. They began a search for soul food within the depraved jungle-camp.

First, she listens tohim (or her) speaking and if she happens to be interested in what is being said, she moves closer... If she gets the chance toget close enough, she takes a deep breath and if she likes his (or her) smell, shetakes the next step...She puts her soft hands upon his (or her) cheeks, closes her eyes (for aesthetic purposes), feels his (or her)facefor the right amount oftenderness...andthen sheputs her lips to his(or hers),tastes his (or her) juices in her mouth...
If she doesn't likethe first kiss, she leaves...
