Poker Face
The cards are all turning
and you've been aced.
I smile at you so kindly,
you think you somehow won
my game.
W-R-O-N-G.
A grin here as I place a
card facing down.
A smirk there as you reach
for the card, your hand
foolishly flipping it to
sate curiosity.
YOU'VE BEEN ACED AGAIN.
You stare at my smiling
face, unable to read it.
That's how I want it!
You feel sleepy and hit the
floor, surrounded in a dream
land by only me.
Horns and tail, the succubus
has been revealed.
You've played my game, you lost,
and now I'll kill you.
I embrace you in my cold arms
as the fire creeps up your body
and I whisper, "I want you."
You turn to look at my poker face
and just as you blink I devour
you WHOLE!
and you've been aced.
I smile at you so kindly,
you think you somehow won
my game.
