A Cremation

I came through a dream,
At an excellent astrological time
Which foreshadowed me as a person
That is always good.

I grew up in anxiety's lap.
It lulled me under it's shade,
And taught to talk with myself
When I am alone or depressed.

But under that shadow
I dreamed for your love,
Your healing touch and warm anointing,
That you pour out from your
Elemental soul.

I wrote you and locked you
Still dreaming about you,
Losing my last remnants of peace
Just in the hope---
You are not too far from--- may be.

I imagined you floating in the elements--
Earth,Air,Fire,Water and Sky.
And tried to catch you,
To bring nearer to me!

For that I visualized,
And endlessly visualized..
The bright ball of red or golden energy
Throwing against you,
With a faint dying hope
Of finding you
In the cursed journey.
To kill the hunger
And quench the thirst
For a quintessential bond of love.

Once again I lands up
With a pair of bruised wings---
Now chopped.

I open my palm
And find a small silken skull,
Inside which my wounded heart
Beating faster than the cosmos.

The skull which I once
Gave life with a heap
Of imaginary flesh and blood,
Now make ready
For the cremation,
Along with my bruised heart
Still beating for the soul
That existed never before.
