When you love
When tears roll across your cheeks
This heart bleeds a little
As your eyes close in pain
It dies a little
If it detects your despair
Into two pieces, it breaks
Never to be whole whilst you’re afflicted
So smile a little more
Wipe away those tears
Give me your pain to bear
Let me carry your cross of despair
Only then can I too heal
