You write so wonderfully about a dynamic that every healthy relationship needs! If there was a collection of poems for lovers starting out, this would have to be included!

It's interesting that you see an erotic angle to this poem, but perhaps not surprising because once someone has seen you do all of those things it most certainly conveys an intimate relationship. :)

I echo Jazzmanor and agree with your reply to runningturtle87. It struck me at once as the monologue of a wife or live-in partner whose man at heart is clearly there for her. The lines run glimpsily like a film sequence - easily visualised.
