Portrait of Denial
First a sketch
Only parallel lines
Watch them fuse
Become intersected linked
Shade the outline
Circle the complication
Embellish the flaws
Realign despondency
Find a stencil
To reprint monotony
So you can fracture identification
Then fasten antagonism
Take a brush
Simple strokes of sanguine
Overlap with onyx
Futile and expressionless
A splendiferous pallor
Finishes the illustrated
It is a speculum

The poem had me view the portrait of the person with a flabby mind screwing every behavior. This was pretty good.

Painted a picture, of what was happening clearly. Very visual, with the mix in of emotion, very nice :)

No. it's sort of a metaphor. Portrait of denial is about looking into a mirror and "fixing" ones appearance. Cosmetics, cover ups, ect. It basically describes wanting to change oneself and self hatred. A speculum is a reflective surface, in this case, as I said before, a mirror.
