Him
He makes me feel like I am falling infinitely
Though I do not fear of when I may land
For I continue to hope and dream that maybe
He’ll be there holding my hand
His eyes his face his nonchalant way
All give me butterflies when our paths meet
And even in our brief conversations in class
He makes my heart skip a beat
He brings a smile upon my face
Even on days that I feel low
I dream of dancing in the moonlight
Softly swaying to and fro
His gleaming smile, his gentle chuckle
Forms a harmony in my ears
The thought of his arms around my waist
Puts a great ease to my fears
But I know that this is but a dream
One not likely to come true
So I will hide behind my friendly mask
And he will never have a clue
Though I do not fear of when I may land
For I continue to hope and dream that maybe
He’ll be there holding my hand
His eyes his face his nonchalant way
All give me butterflies when our paths meet
And even in our brief conversations in class
He makes my heart skip a beat
He brings a smile upon my face
Even on days that I feel low
I dream of dancing in the moonlight
Softly swaying to and fro
His gleaming smile, his gentle chuckle
Forms a harmony in my ears
The thought of his arms around my waist
Puts a great ease to my fears
But I know that this is but a dream
One not likely to come true
So I will hide behind my friendly mask
And he will never have a clue
