Toyota idling
Amid aluminum siding
ripped from perches
My ride gently lurches
Merely turned over
So that gasoline vehicle
Can act as electrical charger

To this situation I am Stranger
Though my view slightly Deja
ma nature showed impressive cleavage
Tearing great trees from roots like cheap adhesive
Concrete walks rendered vertical
Live wires charge streets electrical
Aside from my tropical fishes demise
How come this state of emergency gives me rise?

Plunking my words by controlling an android
Seeing property destroyed
Couldn't leave me more devoid
Of sympathy
I see sand castles mini
Swept away by
INEVITABILITY
And perhaps
DIVINITY

Don't misunderstad .... I don't sanction suffering
But I dig the fact Big Momma atmosphere
with the slightest man-made buffering
has re-instated a modicum of sensible fear

She has hopefully inspired realization
Of the need for genuine human supplication
That attempts to conquer elements are futile
To be angry at material loss truly infantile

Comfort is overrated
True powers that Be are never sated
and are Much more patient
Than peeps who live by base temptation
