Queen of My Dreams

Your rosebud nipples pink and pert --
Your elfin smile with eyes alert –
On the edge of the bed, she's sitting there
Leaning back on her hands with her purposeful stare.
She says come and play but the toll you will pay
To be hers from now on in the old-fashioned way.

She's not a queen who'll be ruled by her king
And to join her in bed is much more than a fling.
The man must share power, her will to obey
In a marriage of equals, where each has their say.
But make no mistake that you must give your best
And be all the King that this queen does expect.

She has her standards and these you must meet
Lest you turn sour all that is sweet.
Be true to yourself and so be true to her.
If this rule you obey, of her love you'll be sure.
But this isn't a woman who'll let the grass grow
And if you do, she will soon answer "no".

She has red auburn hair and firm temper to match --
Between her closed thighs, a sweet crescent of thatch.
Her bangs are parted above arching brows --
A thick braid of hair over her shoulder flows.
Her pale creamy skin, like the petal of a rose --
At once warm and cool and fragrant she glows.

She's a promise of heaven but beware of the thorns
You must do right by her or suffer her scorn.
The demands that she makes are just those of life
Where if you don't meet them, they will cut like a knife.
But it's all for the best that you must give your all
And so rise to heaven or from grace you will fall.

Sooner or later we must answer this call.
The sooner the better -- for one and for all.
She's there to remind you not to tarry on this way.
But get to the point and enter the fray.
You must do the work as you would rest and play.
They are one and the same at the end of the day.

And when you arrive there at the end and the start,
She is waiting to meet you with all of her heart.
Think of the heaven that waits for you there
And answer the challenge in her mischievous glare.
If you would play the game you must dance with this flame
That can both warm and burn you, bring pleasure and pain.

You must pay attention and handle with care
If into this ring you would step if you dare.
She is all that is life in her wise impish smile
In the arch of her brow and her feminine guile.
Would you be the man to answer her gaze
And see her light clearly and not lose it in haze?

She waits for you there on the edge of the bed.
You must give her your all or be better off dead.
The soft flowing curves of her hourglass frame
Wait for your answer as the Sands of Time drain.
Leap to the fore with the drop of each grain.
She is Sun after shower and to parched desert, rain.

Give yourself to her -- so to be ruled
And so be a king or else be a fool.
