I Stopped Listening

Why cant she open
her eyes
Face the truth
See what shes turned me
into
Shes created this monster
She fears she wont be
able to control me anymore
Day after day
I become detatched
from the situation
I stopped listenening
I only went forward
Becoming so cold-hearted,
so distrusting
Isolation and loneliness
awaits my arrival
They welcome me with
open arms
They accept me without
hesitation
While she still screams
and reaches out in desperation
Reaching for someone that
will never come back
