Conflicted Darkness

In my darkest moments, long after all hope was gone
I was alone,abandoned and forgoten but you found me
lost in the darkness I lost my way but you could see
you took my hand and safely guided me

If I had known then what I know now
I would of asked you to leave me

Lost in a fantasy, we forgot about reality

You didnt though
everything you said was a lie
and all those things you did, were lies
you didnt care anymore, you just let it die

I tried
lied to and used
it took me a while to comprhend
but finally I understand

A girl like you could never be with a guy like me
my darkness got in the way of your happiness
