Faith Abandoned
A little boy sits alone in a church.
Faith abandoned,
He questions life, and why he deserves all this.
The priest, interrupted, asking him "why are you sitting alone little boy?" Did you have something you wanted to say to god?
With his head in his hands, and a puzzled look on his face, the boy responds "Why would god want to about MY problems? No one is important enough to have any business with god.
People die, and the world gets hurt and no one does anything about it.
So why should he?"
The priest, bemused walks away.
A god who hears us all,
Listens to us crying,
And screaming out in pain.
Disfigured, and terribly mutilated.
God has a sick little game.
The devil he takes you in,
He knows you're bad,
But he welcomes you anyway.
Everyone needs somewhere to go,
And he takes those who are unwanted.
Don't follow religion to have your voice heard,
the only voice we have is through our actions.
God doesn't care.
But you do.
That's a start.
