She left me

Somebody close to me left.
18 Whole life to live
But she decided to leave.
 
Her struggles deeper than she showed the world
but Me. I knew
I knew her secret hurt  
I knew the scars on her wrists were from past attempts
and not accidents.
I knew and I tried and tried  
and Cried and cried
but sometimes I don't think she heard me
maybe thats why she left.
 
She tried to find love in Sex
& Comfort in Jack...Daniels
tryin to drown out the memories of the pain  
struggling to find herself and her place in this world
but each time she failed she reverted back to this little girl
 
See her secrets where nightmares that happened to be real
Mommy working late, daddy sneaking in her room
whispering to her that she was his only love
at the same time robbing her of everything that made her a...
little girl.
Became a woman at 7, Started oral at 11
and now she's 18& she really don't know or understand what love really means
distorted understanding of what it is to be in a meaningful relationship  
to have someone hold you close and give you the world  
instead she was daddys little girl..daddys play thing, his secret lover.
and mommy turns a blind eye and says she telling lies, turning a blind eye to her cries
 
That could be the reason she decided to leave.
 
No matter how much I told her iLoved her and i would always be her shoulder for some reason she just...didnt hear me. Maybe it just wasn't enough her grief way to tough
so she just couldn't  deal, couldn't come to terms with...Herself or the secrets she kept.
 
So today she left me
my very best friend  
even though on 02-08-2007
she said it would be to the end....
though i didn't even think her end was that close.
 
When they called and said she was no longer breathing
i lost my composure in disbelief
Losing my ming
consumed by my grief
That was the day she decided to leave
