Every Day's A Monday
Push it forward, speed it up
Because today means nothing to me
The words written on the skin
Wash off too easily
Close my eyes, wake me up later
Because I'm tired of the same
The laughter comes and fades away
And no one will know it came
Break through the fabric of time
Because it's just too constant
The smile given is just a lie
Not that important
Slice me open and take my mind
Because every day's a Monday
I'll try to live tomorrow
But I just can't do it today
Because today means nothing to me
The words written on the skin
Wash off too easily
Close my eyes, wake me up later
Because I'm tired of the same
The laughter comes and fades away
And no one will know it came
Break through the fabric of time
Because it's just too constant
The smile given is just a lie
Not that important
Slice me open and take my mind
Because every day's a Monday
I'll try to live tomorrow
But I just can't do it today
