Drinking To Cry
Walking
and
stumbling
drunk
and
disorderly
crying
and
laughing
this is his fault
everything
all of it
I drink to release my emotions
otherwise tears would never fall
to strong and angry for that
something about the booze
gets my tears ducts working
armor that guards my sadness is weakened temporarily
allowing the exit of these old wounds
allowing the anger to subside momentarily
sadness is a welcome guest at this party
tears fall, the hurricane of my soul released
downing a bit more drink
I need this mental storm to rain it all out
Walking
