I AM AUBIS
guardian of the dead
guide on the journey to the after life
holder of judgement
the feather and the heart
rest your soul for your work here is done
and follow my steps towards the rising sun
the stairs to heaven for you to see
if your heart is bright and free
you'll walk the valley of temptation and ascend to me
to light your way through the dark of sin
cleansed, you have forsaken your shadow
the emanation
but before we part ways
learn the words of the Gods
in essence lies death and in death always a beginning

Very nicely written! I really liked this poem. It is dark, goes to the utter edges and in the end rises above itself. Lovely morbid write!
