I am the cheese that rots in the vestibule of hell
Why do you laugh at me?
What are you trying to prove?
Does tearing down the weak affirm your self worth?
I’ve been bent for so long;
It feels normal to submit,
I’m too flexible to take a stand,
An unmarked banner tossed in the wind.
I'm made insecure by the fox.
I’ll believe any lie he tells me.
Eagerly, I reach for them
While I drop my dignity.
What are you trying to prove?
Does tearing down the weak affirm your self worth?
I’ve been bent for so long;
It feels normal to submit,
I’m too flexible to take a stand,
An unmarked banner tossed in the wind.
I'm made insecure by the fox.
I’ll believe any lie he tells me.
Eagerly, I reach for them
While I drop my dignity.
