MEANT FOR ME
Engaged in an argument that is silent in my head,
I know the way to go but I want to stay instead.
Rather than move towards what I know is certain peace,
I hang on to a hope that I can change these faltered things.
I hang on to a hope that I can erase her from your mind.
At times barely I cope with the things you say sometimes.
We both know when you don't act right.
You never see what it does inside.
I could tell you what it could be like,
if there weren't things that you always hide.
As long as there is the existence of her nagging at your strings
I will always know that I cant believe the way it seems.
You will always tell me bad excuses to deny
every time I catch you in this little bitches life.
It would be so easy just to attack your wounded side,
just to please my anger that I have to justify.
Instead , I'm trying to watch and see , if you are smart enough for me.
And if it turns out that I'm wrong, I'll know you weren't meant for me.
I know the way to go but I want to stay instead.
Rather than move towards what I know is certain peace,
I hang on to a hope that I can change these faltered things.
I hang on to a hope that I can erase her from your mind.
At times barely I cope with the things you say sometimes.
